What happens during healing
| My name is Samo and I have been interested in spirituality from my early age.On this journey exploring depths of the human soul, I have been learning about different techniques and ways of spiritual evolution. I began with hermetism,then I dedicated my attention to transcedental meditation for three years.Then period of yoga and pranayama.All the time however music was my great love too. |  |

I continued by participating in creative visualization workshop,different types of meditation, rebirth, walking through embers, then cooperation in Marko Pogacnik's workshops,but then I meet reiki,which I've been getting to know from 1992.I have third degree of this system of natural healing.During this period I've been done over a two thousand reiki therapies. |
| Reiki is a japonese word for "universal life energy".This energy is all around us,however during the therapy of laying hands the flow of this healing energy inucreases through the healer and his hands into the body of the person being healed.During a distant healing the healer directs reiki to the person during healed with the help of reiki symbols.This system of natural healing was rediscovered by Dr.Mikao Usui ,a japonese theologist after studying the notes of a Gautama Buddha's student.After 21 days of fasting and a meditation,he's been given a recognition about the misteries of this system of natural healing and |  |
spiritual evolution.This system have three degrees,the third degree is divided to A and B part. When a reiki master initiates us to the third B degree, we receive the master title of reiki.In Japan reiki practitioners recive the master title only after 20 to 30 years of practicing reiki.In the Europe and America we can get this title alredy after a year.In my opinion such reiki masters can not provide satisfactory answers on quastions about reiki to practitioners,because they don't have enoughe experiences in this system of natural healing.I understand and feel reiki like a path of personaly and spiritualy evolution. |
| In the second reiki degree we recive three reiki symbols.The first is the symbol of power Cho-Ku-Rei , which functions mostly on phisical and etherical planes.This symbol strenghtens functioning of all the other reiki symbols.The second is Sei-He-Ki , which functions mostly on |  |
emotional plane and third is Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen , without which there is no distant healing.It functions mostly on mental plane.On the third degree we recive symbol Dai-Ko-Mio.This symbol functions mostly on spiritual plane. |
| During the first therapy of hands laying the reiki therapist usually treac the whole body,which takes from 70 to 90 minutes.At following therapies five basic positions are used,that are three positions on the head,one on the throat and one on the heart area.After this the therapist focuses on the part of the body with the illness.While healing on distance reiki symbols are used.The therapist and the patient have to agree about the time of the therapy.It takes from 20 to 30 minutes, if necessary also more.The patient has to lie or sit in a relaxet way,making shure not to have either legs or arms crossed |

with closed eyes, so he can pay attention to what happens to him during the therapy.The therapist and the patient usually agree for ten therapies, which take place on four consecutive days and then twice or three times per week.If needed the therapies can be continued.It is best that the therapist follows his intuition when deciding about the number and the lenght of therapies.For chronical problems there is a longer period in between therapies,on the other hand therapies for acute troubles follow each other more densely. |
| During a therapy the flow of healing energy into the patient's body is increased.This releases various energetic and emotional blocades, which can be unpleasant for the patient momentarily,yet helpful.Becouse of increased elimination of toksins from the body patient has to consume more fluids(best if plain water or herbal tea)than usually,so that kidneys are not overstressed with toksins that are eliminating from the body.Some people feel increased pain in the area of illness,have pins and needles, warmth or cold all over the body,or only in specific parts of the body.The heart beat usually increased.Psichicaly overstressed people usually feel a great relaxation,as do others,yet not so | strongly. Some people might even feel nothing,however this doesn't mean that reiki has no effect on them,but that thay are not so sensitive to feel it. During the therapy my co-worker Nadja, that is clearvoyant,sees how the person who is healed is winded around the body with a cloud of healing energy,that the person keep absorbing into himself through whole his body.In the area of illness quantity of healing energy is increased.Becouse the symbols which are used during the healing proces are different vibrations, is also energy which the patient receive, different coloured nianses Many times is happening that emong singly therapy the healing energy has only one colour. |
